Adam Johnson

Sales Manager
Born in Florida, Adam Johnson received his liberal arts education at St. John River Community College in Orange Park, FL. While in college he became the Children’s Pastor at a large Baptist church. He married Rachel Kauffman (now Johnson!) and they moved to Louisville, KY to attend seminary. He also took classes at Indiana University.
After a few years, Adam again worked as a Children’s Pastor as well as an interim pastor/elder at Hazelwood Baptist Church. There he taught Sunday School and shared preaching/leadership responsibilities.
Soon his family converted to the Eastern Orthodox church (under the Antiochians) and moved to Montezuma, GA.
They soon welcomed two children and settled down near his wife’s family.
Adam came on board with Yoder’s in 2013 to increase sales and grow the company through the addition of new lots throughout Georgia and tweaking advertising materials and signage. Five years later, sales have increased over 400%. Office personnel, builders, driver’s, and facilities have grown substantially and he now is focused on increasing sales exclusively at the home office.
Adam and his wife Rachel now have six children (Adison 12, Josie 10, Maria 9, Ella 2, Levi 1, and newborn Henry). They have an English Mastiff named Homer as well as two cats. Rachel homeschools all the children. His family is now all traditionalist Roman Catholics. The Holy Trinity is the center of their life and Adam prays and offers catechesis to his family daily. Adam’s primary goal in life is to raise Godly soldiers of Christ! Adam also enjoys collecting books/reading, weight training/exercise, and learning about theology, history, philosophy, nutrition, and politics. He is stanchly pro-life and is politically a neo-reactionary/traditional conservative. He can be contacted at adam@yodersbuildings.com.
